Zooplus confirms talks with financial investor KKR

Zooplus has now confirmed media reports suggesting that the company is also in talks with financial investor KKR about a possible voluntary public takeover offer to the company's shareholders.
"The outcome of talks with interested parties KKR and EQT is undecided at present," says Zooplus in a press release. Both parties have approached the company with a proposal that is reasonable and credible from a financial and strategic viewpoint, and therefore have access to the same information. It is not yet known at this point whether the talks will ultimately lead to a public takeover offer from one of these parties.
