The 18th ZooExpo took place on 21 and 22 March at X Meeting Point in Skjetten near Oslo. Organised by the Norwegian Pet Trade Association (NZB), the fair has been the cornerstone of Norway's pet industry since 1990 ‒ bringing together retailers, wholesalers, suppliers and manufacturers under one roof for two days of business, networking and professional development.
Preceded by an industry seminar
The event was preceded by SeminarFriday on 20 March, a full day of industry talks that set the tone for the weekend ahead. Speakers addressed a notably broad range of topics: animal welfare and the needs of commonly sold species in retail settings, the role of gut microbiome in canine health, the legal handling of customer complaints, dog behaviour and play, collision-safe transport of dogs in vehicles, and the implications of European Union policy for Norwegian pet retailers.
