Maxi Zoo France opens a logistics hub

Maxi Zoo France has entrusted its B2C and B2B logistics to FM Logistic with the opening of a 57 000 m² logistics hub in Savigny-sur-Clairis. The hub will deliver to all 263 stores across France as well as to French customers purchasing items from the online shop. Around 4.6 mio deliveries are expected to be made annually, with orders by private customers (B2C) accounting for 1.2 mio of these.
"With this new national platform we hope to increase our efficiency and get our goods out both to stores and directly to our customers more quickly," said Jan Wejbrandt, board chairman of Maxi Zoo France.
FM Logistic was established in 1967 and operates in 14 countries in Europe, Asia and South America (Brazil). The logistics specialist employs 27 500 people. In its last fiscal year it achieved sales totalling 1.43 bn euros.
