PLMA honours 101 products

36 retailers from 17 countries are winners of the international "Salute to Excellence" awards of the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA). They were honoured for innovative and high-quality private label products in the food and non-food sectors. With a total of 23 awards for private labels in the food and non-food sectors, German retailers came out on top.
Nearly 600 products launched last year were submitted for judging by 62 retailers from 23 countries. Of the 101 awards presented by PLMA this year, a total of 54 went to retailers in Germany (23 awards), Ireland (17) and the Netherlands (14). The remaining honours were awarded to chains from Southern Europe, Scandinavia, Belgium, the UK and Central Eastern Europe.
