New president and CEO at Pijac Canada

Pijac Canada has appointed Christine Carrière as its new president and CEO with effect from 29 June. She has spent the past two decades in the fields of public administration, research and crisis communication. Christine Carrière held the role of director of emergency management, environmental services and telecommunications for Bruyère Continuing Care.
She has a deep passion for animal rights, according to the Canadian association. "Her combined experience in the non-profit sector and in community initiatives brings a renewed commitment to strengthen the vibrant and growing pet industry."
