Spanish pet store chain Maskokotas, a member of the Buddy group, has announced further new store openings.
The first two stores already opened are located in Benito Pérez Galdós Street and in Llibertat Avenue in the city of Elche. Both have a retail area of around 100 m². On 9 April, the other two stores will be inaugurated on Novelda and Alacant Avenues in the same city. Elche has about 235 000 inhabitants and is located southwest of Alicante in the east of the country.
The objective of Maskototas is to open a minimum of 100 stores by the end of the year. Maskokotas now operates over 30 outlets in the capital Madrid and along the east coast of the country. The Buddy group aims to become the leader in the pet sector in Southern Europe. To this end, it is supported by the Italian investment fund Milano Investment, which entered the brand in 2020.
