An industry meeting in Telford

The organiser was delighted with the outcome of PATS Telford.

PATS Telford took place on 22 and 23 September. In the closing report the organiser deemed it a huge success. It is reported that over 2 100 visitors found their way to Telford. Over 200 companies are reported to have exhibited, including 66 new exhibitors.

Particular importance was attached at the fair to sustainability, with a Green New Product Award being introduced as a new category in the New Product Showcase. The award went to Project Blu, which manufactures pet beds from plastic recovered from the ocean.

PATS chosen welfare organisation, Dogs For Good, benefited from the show with a cheque for 500 pounds, which was presented by organiser Gordon Thomas during the PetQuip Awards on Sunday evening.

Next year PATS Telford will be staged on 27 and 28 September.
