Pet food with passion

Josera means passion – for our dogs, cats and horses, for super-premium quality from Germany and for sustainable solutions. As a pet food producer based in Kleinheubach, Bavaria, the brand brings over 80 years of experience to the table. No artificial colourings or flavourings are added to any Josera dry or wet food. The result is highly digestible and extremely easy-to-tolerate recipes with a demonstrably high level of acceptance. The raw ingredients and recipes are developed and regularly tested by nutrition experts in our own accredited laboratory.  

Josera offers the right menu for cosy couch potatoes to agile athletes, from puppy to senior age. For dogs, there is a huge selection of dry food and, since 2021, the Meat Lovers wet food range. The whole Josera cat food world is waiting to be discovered by picky pets: a range of different dry foods is accompanied by equally tasty wet foods from fillet to paté. These are now also available in a practical, recyclable 85 g or 200 g can. This is not to forget crunchy treats for dogs and cats, too.

The entire Josera production process is climate-neutral. Its slogan is: avoid C0₂ where it‘s possible, cut CO₂ where it‘s not, and compensate for surplus greenhouse gases by means of other projects. To follow this triple target, the entire value chain of all products is monitored continuously, without losing sight of consistently high quality.  

On site, a variety of measures helps to achieve this. Among other things, a state-of-the-art production plant, power generation thanks to the outstanding primary energy efficiency of the company‘s own energy centre, and the storage of products in a high-bay warehouse made of PEFC-certified wood from regional forestry. Tanzania‘s Ntakata Mountains forest conservation project compensates for all unavoidable on-site emissions.
