GLEE organizer Trade Promotion Services reports that exhibitors from 28 countries have already booked stands for the exhibition, which will take place from 15-17 September and is being staged jointly with Petindex for the first time. The company states that all the main manufacturers have registered.
“We have virtually reached our goal of 1 400 exhibitors, and we expect all nine halls to be fully occupied by the time the exhibition opens”, says Marketing Manager Fiona Lowenthal. According to Ms Lowenthal, the international significance of the exhibition has increased considerably compared with last year, when only six halls of the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) were taken up.
The fair is expected to feature a wide selection of products in the landscaping, nurseries, garden care, home, pets, garden machinery and outdoor living sectors. Its international character is underlined by joint stands from Holland and Ireland, a pavilion from Italy in the nursery sector, group stands from the USA, China and Taiwan as well as a host of individual stands from 28 countries.
Many new products have already been announced in advance, with a number of others to follow. A selection of these will be presented in the New Product Areas around the show, with around 400 new products on display in Halls 2 (Furniture and BBQs), 3/3A (Nurseries), 4 (Petcare) and 6-8 (Landscape gardening).

The event is also being backed by the Petcare Trust and OATA (Ornamental Aquatics Trade Association).
The plant sector is expected to be a focal point of the exhibition, with three halls given over to the latest products and landscaping trends. Leisure products in the furniture, BBQ and accessory sphere will be exhibited together with a host of details in Hall 1 under the auspices of the Leisure & Outdoor Furniture Association. Other halls feature an extensive selection of garden care products, garden tools and machinery, other hardware and gifts, along with retail services and equipment.
The organizers of Glee will be devoting special attention to foreign visitors again this year; the services on offer include free admission, a complimentary catalogue and the use of the International…
