Casco Pet has announced two significant expansions of its animal housing portfolio, underlining the global provider's commitment to wellness-driven environments across the veterinary and shelter sectors.
The first launch sees the introduction of CareKennels, a new veterinary clinical housing range positioned as an accessible, cost-competitive alternative to traditional stainless-steel cages. Engineered with integrated sound-dampening materials, the range is designed to reduce noise both inside and outside the kennel, creating calmer conditions for patients and clinical teams alike. A proprietary antibacterial polymer combined with toughened safety-glass doors supports improved biosecurity, whilst testing has demonstrated that CareKennels take around 40% less time to clean than conventional stainless-steel alternatives ‒ a meaningful efficiency gain for busy practices. Available in multiple configurations, the range is designed to suit clinics of all sizes, from small independent practices to large multi-site hospitals.
Fear Free shelters by Casco Pet
Alongside the CareKennels launch, Casco Pet has unveiled a dedicated shelters division, marking the company's first move into the animal rescue and rehoming sector. The new division will be headed by Tori Williams, former Chief Operating Officer of the animal welfare organization Fear Free, who joins Casco Pet to develop practical, welfare-focused housing solutions designed to reduce stress and improve adoption outcomes. The shelters range, developed in partnership with shelter design specialist Therian, features high-strength tempered safety glass doors in place of stainless-steel grid fronts, reducing both noise and visual stress between animals whilst improving caregiver visibility and simplifying sanitation. Casco Pet will also support shelter organisations in identifying fundraising opportunities for facility improvements.
The new shelters range will make its public debut at the Animal Care Expo in Pittsburgh from 7–10 April 2026. CEO Matthew Bubear said the launches reflected Casco Pet's belief that cost should never be a barrier to high-quality animal housing, adding that expanding into shelters felt ‘both purposeful and necessary.’
