Fressnapf increases its proportion of exports to sales

The German Fressnapf Tiernahrungs GmbH has reported an increase of 19.9 per cent for the first six months of 2003 compared with the same period last year. The company achieved sales Europe-wide of 250.9 mio euro, increasing the proportion of exports to sales from 8.6 per cent for the same period in the previous year to 14.6 per cent. Like-for-like sales increased by 5.4 per cent. The Fressnapf Group hopes to end the 2003 financial year on 31 December with sales of 560 mio euro.
