The event will be organised by BolognaFiere with the patronage of Assalco, the national association of pet food and care companies, and Anmvi, the Italian National Association of Veterinarians. The previous edition in May 2019 saw 757 exhibitors, 507 of whom were from abroad, and over 30 000 professionals (23 per cent more compared with the previous edition).
The layout adopted in 2019 and including the new halls 28, 29 and 30 will be used again, along with halls 25 and 26 in 2021. Aqua Project, a specific area dedicated to aquatics, will feature once more. A new feature will be a dedicated area for start-ups and initiatives bringing innovation to the pet sector. The forthcoming Zoomark will boast a host of other new features devoted to pet well-being, reflecting the increasingly important role that pets play in our daily lives.
