Prins Petfoods opens visitor centre

The visitor centre has an area of almost 900 m².

On 1 October, Prins Petfoods celebrated the official opening of the company's 900 m² visitor centre in Veenendaal. "The family business is thus fulfilling the dream of its own centre where everyone can see and experience what Prins Petfood understands by hospitality and passion for animals," says Prins Petfoods in its communication.

The visitor centre houses the so-called Prins Experience, a tour that starts in the living room of company founder Dirk Verkade in the 1960s and ends in the Prins brand store. During the tour, visitors can see how Prins produces dog and cat food, how dogs and cats perceive the world and learn more about the senses and organs of these animals.

Both consumers and business customers are welcome at the visitor centre. Tickets can be booked for different dates and periods. A full visit with catering takes two hours. Prins will donate the proceeds from the entrance fee and the brand store to charity through the Prins Foundation. A visit can be booked via
