Plaček Group continues to expand

The second Dino Zoo in Moscow.

The Plaček Group, a leading retail company in Central and Eastern Europe, is expanding further: in its home market in the Czech Republic, the chain aims to increase the number of Super Zoo stores to 90 by the end of the year. Its 80th outlet opened its doors in August.

In Russia, the company opened its second store under the Dino Zoo logo in Moscow in the spring. Like the first, which opened last year, it covers a retail area of 1 500 m². The new store is in the south of Moscow in the Salaris shopping centre, which also features a 26 000 m² Globus store.

In Slovakia, where the Plaček Group currently has over 50 outlets, the number of stores is to be increased to 56 or 57. In Poland, two new stores are scheduled to be added to the 44 Kakadu outlets by the end of the year. The Plaček Group also has 44 stores in Latvia, with another one or two openings scheduled for this year.
