Pestell Group acquires VersaPet

Wind Point Partners portfolio company Pestell Group has acquired VersaPet, a Toronto-based manufacturer of private label and branded cat litter products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction was completed through the Pestell Pet Products (PET) business unit.Pestell manufactures animal litter and small animal bedding products. The acquisition increases Pestell's capacity for cat litter production, and it allows VersaPet to offer additional products from the broader Pestell pet portfolio, including paper-based animal litter, animal bedding, pet treats and dental chews.
