BackOffer period for Zooplus expires
Zooplus is currently reminding its shareholders that the acceptance period for the final offer by Hellman & Friedman (H&F), with the support of partner EQT Private Equity (EQT), for a cash consideration of 480 euros per share expires at midnight on 3 November. "Zooplus shareholders will only benefit from the significant premium if the minimum acceptance threshold of 50 per cent plus one Zooplus share is reached by the deadline," Zooplus stated.
At 6 p.m. on 1 November, the acceptance rate was around 26 per cent. If the minimum acceptance threshold is reached, the first settlement and payment will take place within ten banking days after publication of the offer result.
The management board and supervisory board of Zooplus believe that the offer is in the best interests of the company and is very attractive for shareholders. Both boards therefore recommend that Zooplus shareholders accept the takeover offer before the end of the offer period.
