Hornbach significantly increases revenue forecast

The earnings performance of Hornbach Baumarkt AG improved significantly in the third quarter of 2019/20 (1 September to 30 November 2019) compared with the previous year, according to the company.
With an increase in net sales of 4.8 per cent to nearly 1 055 mio euro (previous year: 1 006 mio euro), the operating profit net of non-operating earnings items (EBIT) rose to over 29 mio euro, according to provisional figures.
In the first three quarters of 2019/20, net sales grew by 7.5 per cent to approx. 3.5 bn euro (previous year: 3.26 bn euro).
