Innovations at Flexi: Select and One for all

World-famous and an integral part of any well-stocked range in speciality stores, the flexi retractable lead has been manufactured for over 50 years in the North German family business located just outside Hamburg and employing over 300 people. Since Manfred Bogdahn developed his first retractable lead in 1972, millions of dog owners around the world have been using this invention made in Germany.

From the very beginning, company founder Manfred Bogdahn's motto was “We only do one thing – and we do it best“ – a motto that has not changed even after more than 50 years. The company not only invented the flexi retractable lead, but also perfected it down to the smallest detail through technical innovations.

With the Select and One for All lines, two new products are being launched just in time for ­Interzoo:

The elegant lead with its unique design is ­characterised by its high durability and is suitable for dogs weighing up to 25 kg. What is particularly practical is that the adjustable handle can be set to the size of the user's hand. The ONE FOR ALL is available after Interzoo as a 5-metre harness lead in one size in the colour combination black/white.

The first length-adjustable flexi leash sets new standards and is technically an absolute novelty in the entire flexi range. Any length between one and seven metres can be set, making the ­SELECT ideal for walking in the city as well as in the forest.  

A highlight is that while the lead is set to a freely selectable length, it continues to run in and out smoothly. The adjustable handle can also be set to any hand size. Other possible accessories include the flexi Multi Box and the LED lighting system. The flexi SELECT is available as a belt leash in grey with a length of seven metres.
