BackPet Link Asia gathers the international community
The first online edition of Pet Link Asia gathered the international pet business community around pre-arranged matchmaking meetings and two exclusive live conferences with industry experts. The five-day event was presented by the Asia Pet Alliance and supported by its international partners WPA, Pijac Canada and APPA.
93 exhibitors from China, Thailand, the USA and Canada were selected for their innovative approach to the pet industry. They exhibited their new products and solutions to more than 223 qualified buyers from North America and beyond for a total of 418 successful meetings in five days. The online event also attracted 587 trade visitors looking for new product information and market updates, according to the Asia Pet Alliance.
Along with business matchmaking sessions, the event hosted two days of live seminars and panel discussions, gathering more than 30 speakers from eight countries. Looking beyond the epidemic, they discussed American and Asian pet markets and the future of pet food and pet supplies manufacturing.
The Asia Pet Alliance states that Pet Link Asia was welcomed by pet supplies manufacturers and sourcing managers as a natural extension of Pet Fair Asia for the international community, which was unable to travel for business in 2020.
