The British pet supplies show Pats Sandown took place on a Sunday and Monday for the first time in February. The aim of the organisers was to increase the footfall significantly, and they succeeded in this: "This year's show attracted 1 993 visitors, which is a record in the show's 11-year history," stated the closing report of the organisers. "This compares with last year's visitor figure of 1 801 for the March date and represents an 11 per cent increase year on year." A large number of first-time exhibitors took part in the show and told PET worldwide they were very satisfied with Pats. The next Pats will be staged in Telford on 22 and 23 September.
