Michel Picandet takes the helm at Tomra Food

Michel Picandet has been appointed executive vice-president and head of Tomra Food. He joined the company on 1 January and will be based at the headquarters of Tomra Food in Leuven, Belgium. In his new role he will be responsible for the company's three brands Tomra Food, Compac and BBC Technologies.
Before joining Tomra Food, Picandet had occupied leading positions at Tetra Pak as global and managing director since 2013. A French citizen who graduated in engineering from the University of Clermont Ferrand, Picandet also has a master's degree in management from the ESCP Business School.
