Zooplus informs of changes in the executive board. After 18 years at Zooplus, Andrea Skersies will leave the company on 30 November. She has been a member of the executive board since 2005 and has been responsible for the area of sales and marketing since this time.
On 1 December, Florian Welz (39) will strengthen the executive board at Zooplus AG and will be responsible in future for the areas vendor management (purchasing / category management) and sales. Most recently, Florian Welz worked as CEO of a subsidiary of the Kingfisher group in Germany and before that, as COO for the area e-commerce multi-channel for the Media-Saturn group.
At the same time, the area of logistics will be an independent executive board area in future. Until now, this function was under the technical responsibility of the CEO within the executive board. Dr Mischa Ritter (44), at the company since 2012, has been head of the area of logistics since 2015. The appointment of Dr Ritter to the executive board will take place on 1 December 2018.
