Purina invites applications for the BetterwithPets Prize

For the second time Purina is inviting applications for the BetterwithPets Prize, worth 120 000 Swiss francs. The company's initiative aims to promote social innovation to support the human-pet bond in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. As well as innovations that are in the pilot phase or have already been implemented, social projects that are still at the conceptual phase are being sought and encouraged. The latter aspect targets young innovators aged between 18 and 25 in particular.
The application process commenced at the start of Ashoka Global's European Changemaker Summit in Barcelona on 25 November and will run until 28 January 2020. Social enterprises and financial companies, non-profit institutions and organisations, and young innovators with a proven commitment to furthering the close bond between humans and pets can enter. All applicants will receive detailed expert feedback on their proposals.
Ten finalists will be invited to attend the Purina BetterwithPets Forum in France on 3 to 4 June 2020. The winners will be announced at this event.Detailed information on the application process, admission criteria and business terms can be found here.
