ZZF and WZF appoint a new managing director

The executive board of the German Pet Trade & Industry Association (ZZF) and advisory board of the Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe (WZF), which organises the world-leading Interzoo trade show, have appointed Gordon Bonnet the managing director of the association and its subsidiary WZF.
The lawyer, business mediator and journalist was previously press officer for the Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce before becoming head of corporate communications and board member at Wiesbaden's chamber of industry and commerce. In this role he was responsible for regional policy and communications, taking charge of the retail committee among others. His last position was as management board member at a creative agency specialising in live communications and creative consulting.
"By appointing a single person to manage the ZZF and WZF, we aim to increase the clout of our association further," said ZZF president Norbert Holthenrich.
