In view of positive figures for the first half of the year, online retailer Zooplus has raised its sales forecast for this financial year for the second time in a row.
After 20 mio euros previously, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are now expected to be at least 40 mio euros. Zooplus is forecasting an increase in turnover of 240 mio euros to 1.765 bn euros.
The company had previously assumed an increase in sales of 225 mio euros. On the basis of preliminary figures, the online retailer achieved an increase in sales of 18 to 19 percent and EBITDA of between 25 and 30 mio euros in the first half of 2020.
