Zoomark opens its doors on Monday

The 18th edition of Zoomark takes place in Bologna from 6 to 9 May. In an Interzoo-free year, the Italian trade show is one of the most important events in the pet supplies sector. The organisers are expecting around 757 exhibitors from 45 countries on an exhibition area of 55 000 m², ten per cent more space than in 2017.Zoomark will open with the presentation of the Assalco Zoomark report offering a detailed analysis of the trends and key developments in the Italian pet supplies market.Particular attention is again being devoted by the organisers to the "Aqua Project" initiative. This aims to promote the development of aquatics sustainably and demonstrate the versatility of aquariums. A special area has been set aside for showing aquariums from various exhibitors that present different habitats and ecosystems as well as the latest innovations.Another special area will showcase more than 400 new products from a host of exhibitors. Around 40 per cent of this is for canine products, followed by products for cats and in third spot products for fish and ponds.
