Pets at Home increases its sales
In the period under review, Pets at Home has switched nine further outlets to the new pet care centre format introduced last year.

In the third quarter of its fiscal year (11 October 2019 to 2 January 2020), the leading British pet supplies chain Pets at Home increased its total sales by 7.9 per cent to GBP 255.9 mio. Retail revenue went up by 7.2 per cent, and by as much as 23.4 per cent including omnichannel revenue. The sales of the Vet Group increased by 14.4 per cent. Pets at Home experienced retail like-for-like revenue growth of 7 per cent in Q3.
CEO Peter Prichard expressed satisfaction with the results: "Our continued momentum leaves us very much on track with our plans for the year," he commented and pointed to the "record-breaking performance in retail", including the retailer's biggest ever online and offline trading days and grooming 6 023 dogs in a single day. In the period under review, Pets at Home also switched nine further outlets to the new pet care centre format introduced last year.
