Tomra Food, a global provider of sensors, equipment and digital solutions for the food supply chain, has joined over 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest project member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). 
Headquartered in Leuven (Belgium), Tomra Food employs 1 500 people in centres of excellence, regional offices and manufacturing locations within Europe, the United States, South America, Asia, Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
The company's mission is to enable its customers to improve returns, gain operational efficiencies, reduce food waste, optimise quality and ensure a safe food supply via smart and sustainable technologies.
