The industry meets in Guangzhou

The 22nd edition of the China International Pet Show (CIPS) will take place once again in Guangzhou from 27 to 30 September. The organiser, the China Great Wall International Exhibition Co., reports an increase in the exhibition area of 120 000 m2, with around 1 500 exhibitors expected to attend.
Against the background of a growing pet market in Asia, visitor numbers are also expected to grow to around 65 000. So-called country pavilions will feature too, in particular from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Britain and Taiwan. A supporting programme will host the GlobalPets Forum Asia, as well as the CIPS Global Ornamental Fish Championship.
