BackNestlé Purina partners with IVC
Nestlé Purina Petcare has entered into a partnership with the Independent Vetcare Group (IVC), Europe's biggest veterinary chain. The pet food manufacturer has also announced its intention to acquire a minority interest in IVC subject to the approval of the competition authority. However, the IVC Group will continue to operate in future as an independent business, stated Nestlé Purina.
The British company IVC has a network of over 1 000 veterinary clinics in ten countries. Over two million pet owners regularly visit the chain's practices. For Nestlé Purina Petcare, the partnership with IVC marks an important step in the creation of a sector-wide network to promote the health and well-being of pets.
