BackMany pet shops remain open
The leading Italian pet shop chains are currently not or only marginally affected by the national authorities' order to keep all shops closed. The reason: they are classified as food stores and are therefore allowed to remain open. Press spokesman Kristian Peters-Lach from Europe's leading pet retailer Fressnapf announced this at the request of PET worldwide.
The leading Italian specialist retail chain Arcaplanet can also keep its stores open. The company is announcing this on its Facebook page.
Isola dei tesori, another large Italian pet retail chain, writes on its website that on Saturdays and Sundays some stores must remain closed due to official orders.
