Ikea opens first pet department

The Swedish furniture giant Ikea opened its first pet department in its store in Roncadelle/Brescia, Italy, on 1 March. A retail area of 32 m² is devoted there to the display of products in the company's Lurvig line.
The line was conceived in 2017 by designer Inma Bermudéz. "With this new themed area Ikea aims to focus more closely on the needs of people and their pets," the manager of the store in Roncadelle is quoted as saying.
