Ebay restructuring

Ebay is based in San José, California.

Ebay intends to restructure the organisation in its key regional markets and concentrate it under a unified management team. The future team leader will be Jay Lee in his new position as senior vice-president and CEO responsible for markets. The structural changes are expected to apply to the markets in America, Asia-Pacific, the UK and central and southern Europe as well as cross-border trade.

Ebay's aim is to coordinate global targets such as customer growth, conversions, payment and advertising strategically, enabling it to use resources more efficiently, accelerate decision-making and implementation and improve technical cooperation with Core Product and Technology (CPT). The company has not yet revealed how many employees are affected by the restructuring.
