Coveris opens innovation centre

Coveris has opened a Pack Innovation Centre in Halle (Germany). It will be used for technical product development, sustainable innovations and training. The centre will also support customers in realising, developing and validating new product ideas. 
The Pack Innovation Centre has premises covering over 400 m². Its production area is equipped with the latest packaging machines, including a thermoformer, a tray sealer and two tubular bag machines. Seminars will also be offered and the centre has an area for organising workshops. "The customised seminars and workshops will host internal and external target groups and will be run by in-house specialists from Coveris," states the company.
