The American Pet Products Association (APPA) and the Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA), organisers of the 18th Global Pet Expo staged from 23 to 25 March in Orlando, Florida, can look back with satisfaction on the latest edition.
722 exhibiting companies and 2 695 stands featured at the show, while over 700 new products were entered in the New Products Showcase. The winners here were recognised with Best in Show awards.
According to the closing report, more than 5 400 buyers attended the Global Pet Expo. 52 per cent of these were visiting the show for the first time. The organisers also reported the return of international buyers, noting an increase in visitors from the United Kingdom of 49 per cent compared with 2020.
The next Global Pet Expo takes place from 22 to 24 March 2023.
