Prins Petfood is to open a pet competence centre, Prins-Plaza, close to Lelystad in the summer. The former pet hotel has been revamped and modernised significantly. Apart from a veterinary and physiotherapy practice, plans for the Prins-Plaza include a café, a dog grooming salon, a specialist library and a pet shelter.
The facility as a whole will cover roughly 6 000 m², employ up to ten people and have room for around 100 dogs and 40 cats. Graduates from the company's Martin Gans Academy are also expected to have an opportunity to extend their practical experience at the Prins-Plaza.
