Beaphar acquires Primeval

The Dutch pet healthcare specialist Beaphar has taken over the activities of Primeval with effect from 1 July. Primeval has developed food supplements for horses and dogs under the brand name Primeval since 1998. The products focus on the treatment of arthrosis and skin diseases of horses and dogs.
Company founder Dirk Kat, who has reached the retirement age, lacked a successor. He has therefore decided to hand over the activities of his company to Beaphar, which distributes its products to over 90 countries and has a dominant position in the OTC market for veterinary food supplements and healthcare products. Beaphar's export department will take care of all sales activities and distribution outside the Netherlands.
