Zooplus revises forecast upwards again

Online retailer Zooplus expects its sales revenue for fiscal 2020 to be in the order of 1.77 bn to 1.81 bn euros. The company has thus revised its forecast upwards for the third time this financial year.
The Zooplus board also assumes higher operating profitability measured by earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA). According to the current estimate, this is in the range of 50 mio to 65 mio euros for the current financial year. Zooplus recently assumed an increase to 40 mio euros. In fiscal 2019, its EBITDA was 12 mio euros.
Based on provisional figures, Zooplus achieved sales revenue of roughly 1.3 bn euros in the first nine months of fiscal 2020 and a corresponding EBITDA in the range of 40 mio to 50 mio euros. The online retailer will publish the final results for the third quarter and first nine months of fiscal 2020 on 17 November.
