The leading British pet supplies retailer Pets At Home has now published a new investor presentation. In it the company reports growing sales figures for the third quarter in a row.
For Q1 FY20, the period from 29 March to 18 July 2019, group revenue growth of 9.9 per cent to £ 303.4 mio (approx. 347 mio euros) is reported compared with the same period last year. The retail revenue is reported at £ 266.4 mio, including £ 26 mio omnichannel revenue. In like-for like terms the group revenue shows growth of 8 per cent, while the retail revenue shows an increase of 8.2 per cent.
The number of stores is now 452, three more than in the same period of the previous year, and there are now 312 grooming salons. Veterinary practices managed by the company have increased to 43, 24 more than in the same period of the previous year.
