Manfred Bogdahn recognised for his lifetime achievement

Manfred Bogdahn, founder and proprietor of Flexi Bogdahn International, has been recognised for his lifetime achievement with the pet Personality of the Year Award. He was presented with the award at the evening function of the Pet Conference in Hamburg.
In 1972, Manfred Bogdahn took the starter mechanism of a power saw and enclosed it in two wooden shells, thereby creating the first retractable lead and laying the foundation for a German success story. His Flexi products are now a byword for retractable leads across the globe.
