The jury of the German Sustainability Award has selected Yarrah as one of the finalists in the category "Transformation Biodiversity". "Selection was based above all on innovative capacity, role model function, ambitious targets and particularly effective contribution to sustainable change," states Yarrah.
Yarrah made it to become one of 35 finalists in the company category from among 1 000 applicants. The German Sustainability Award for companies comprises five transformation categories: Climate, Resources, Biodiversity, Supply Chain and Society. In the Biodiversity category, in which natural cosmetics brand Lavera and veganz, a manufacturer of vegan foods, were nominated alongside Yarrah, important contributions can be found to a trend reversal towards sustainable management of ecosystems. "The jury is convinced also by the holistic ecological strategy consistently pursued by the company for many years covering the entire value-creation chain," it says on the website for the Sustainability Award.
The award winners will be announced on 3 December at an award ceremony.
