Pet Fair Asia exceeds expectations

Pet Fair Asia took place in Shanghai from 21 to 25 August with 1 591 exhibitors presenting on an exhibition area of 185 000 m² in 14 halls. 67 163 trade representatives from 42 countries visited the 22nd edition of Pet Fair Asia, including 8 656 international visitors. There was a considerable increase in the numbers attending from South-East Asia, the Middle East and South America. The organisers reported that multinational groups like Nestlé and Royal Canin held internal strategy meetings at the show.
The 9th International Summit Conference of the pet supplies sector took place in the eve of the fair. 1 200 delegates had access to exclusive data on the latest trends in the Chinese market and exchanged views with international influencers. In addition, the 8th Petfood Forum China provided its attendees with detailed insights into new food regulations and current trends.
The 23rd Pet Fair Asia will be held from 19 to 23 August 2020. 2 000 exhibitors are expected to show products and services on 210 000 m² in 17 halls.
