14.12.2017

Peter Pritchard, currently CEO Retail at the British pet retail group Pets at Home, will take up the position of group chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from 1 April 2018.
The current incumbent of the post, Ian Kellett, wishes to step down and pursue his own business interests. His successor Pritchard joined Pets at Home in 2011 as commercial director and was appointed CEO Retail in 2015.
During this time he oversaw the establishment of a sourcing office in China, the launch of the VIP Club, the development of the omnichannel strategy and most recently the repositioning of the merchandise business. Non-executive director Nicolas Gheysens has also stepped down and will leave the executive board with immediate effect.
The group's principal shareholder, KKR My Best Friend Limited, has decided not to exercise its right to replace Gheysens on the board as part of the relationship agreement.
