New organisational structure at Zooplus

Florian Welz, chief commercial officer (CCO) of Zooplus AG, left the company on 13 July "at his own request and by amicable mutual consent," according to the online retailer. Florian Welz had been CCO at the company since 2018. The current responsibilities of the CCO are to be split between two new executive management functions: category management, which will also cover procurement, and the private label portfolio.
Responsibility for the markets, along with distribution and pricing, has already been transferred from the CCO to the CEO. In addition, two new appointees, Markus Hermanutz (CIO) and Rainer Collet (CPO), will advance digital excellence at Zooplus.
