"We are currently being asked whether the coronavirus outbreak in China will have an impact on the staging of Interzoo," it says on the website of Interzoo organisers WZF and ZZF. They are taking the subject seriously and monitoring developments as well as maintaining contact with the health authorities.
With regard to the event planning, the organisers are being guided by the recommendations and regulations of the German government and the World Health Organisation (WHO). The Federal Ministry of Health has already implemented security measures for those arriving on flights from China.
"All international trade shows are still taking place in Germany at present," the WZF and ZZF have stated, adding: "We are receiving new applications for Interzoo and note the usual engagement of our exhibitors in their preparations for participating in the show."
