From pets to vets

Kiwoko, the leading Spanish speciality pet retail chain with 32 stores, has recently entered the veterinary business, opening its first four clinics starting in August 2012. The clinics operate under the “Sanitos” brand and are advised and supervised by Nexo Centros Veterinarios, the leading veterinary clinic franchise in Spain with 25 centres. All four vets are located inside “Kiwoko XL” stores.
Kiwoko plans to roll out veterinary clinics in most of its 11 existing XL stores and open most of its new XL stores with integrated veterinary services.
