Run by the third generation of a family of entrepreneurs, with the fourth generation already actively involved, the company has practised sustainable development for over 90 years.As a supplier to the food and pharmaceutical industry, the company applies its experience and expertise to the production of animal feed adapted to the needs of pet and farm animals. Numerous certificates have long since guaranteed that the products and services provided by Kräuter Mix comply with the highest standards. The company from Abtswind has now added GMP+ B1 to its list of certifications, which constitutes a quality seal for excellent animal feed. As a producer and supplier of food for the animal feed industry and trade, Kräuter Mix has been registered up to now as conforming to VO/EG 183/2005. With the GMP+ B1 certification the enterprise has taken the next step to give its customers an even higher degree of feed safety assurance when it comes to pet and farm animals.
Whether the products are medicinal herbs, culinary herbs, dried vegetables or spices - both industry and trade will find exactly those ingredients that are vital for guaranteeing balanced nutrition for pet and farm animals in the extensive product range of Kräuter Mix. For almost 100 years now, the firm with its 330 employees and a turnover of 110.8 million euros in 2016 has been specialising in refining dried plant-based raw materials.

Through GMP+ (Module B1: production, trade, services) the customers can rest assured that the plant-based products meet the high requirements for animal feed in a special way.
