Two new appointments at Mars Petcare

Myriam Cohen-Welgryn has been named as the new regional president of Mars Petcare Europe with effect from 1 January. She succeeds Nigyar Makhmudova, who has taken up a global position in the organisation.
Cohen-Welgryn joined Mars in 2013 as general manager for Mars Petcare France. She has more than 20 years' experience in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) marketing and management in both France and internationally. In her new position, she is responsible for a turnover of $ 3.7 bn, 11 factories and more than 5 000 associates.
The new general manager of Mars Petcare France is Olivier Péchereau. He has been general director of Mars Petcare & Food Poland since June 2014. His previous appointments included international postings at Royal Canin and Mars Petcare.
