Propet and Iberzoo to join forces

The two leading pet trade shows in Spain, Propet and Iberzoo, have merged. The news came out during the International Pet Conference in Barcelona. The new fair will be called Iberzoo + Propet 2017 and will take place from 16 to 18 March 2017 in hall 9 at the IFEMA venue for the first time. The organisers expect to host over 200 direct exhibitors and around 17 000 trade representatives from 30 countries.
The agreement to merge these two fairs was signed for IFEMA by Eduardo López-Puertas, general manager of IFEMA, Lluc Ferrer Aymar, president of the Spanish Association of Pet Product Distributors (AEDPAC) and José Ramón Escribano Lucas, president of the Madrid Association of Pet Veterinarians (AMVAC). The ceremony was also attended by Lola González, manager of the Iberzoo + Propet-IFEMA fair (see photo).
"This new trade show offers a unique opportunity to show our products personally and directly to a large number of buyers from the Iberian market and foreign markets," said Lluc Ferrer, president of AEDPAC.
