Petcube gets 10 million US dollars

Petcube, the developer of pet cameras and market leader in the "Connected Pet" category, has revealed that the company is to get ten million US dollars from Almaz Capital, AVentures, and Y Combinator, with participation from other investors. The financial injection is to be used to fund new product development, marketing and sales activities in North America and the international markets.  
 
Petcube products are currently marketed and sold in 18 countries through more than 5 000 retail outlets in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The products are available online from Petcube.com and Amazon.
 
Petcube was launched at the end of 2013 as a kickstarter campaign and has become one of the fastest-growing entertainment electronics companies in the "Connected Pet" category.
